Head Coach - 14U

Coach Derik Pranger was a local standout at Arapahoe High School, where he was a two-year varsity starter before transferring to Colorado Prep for his final two years. At Colorado Prep he helped his team finish 3rd on the Grind Session circuit. Coach Derik's production as a Prep and AAU player earned him a Division 1 scholarship at Eastern Michigan. After two seasons at Eastern Michigan, he then moved back home transferring to UCCS. 

Coach Derik instantly found success at UCCS, starting in all 29 games for his team. His RS Soph season was highlighted by a 28 point performance against Fort Lewis and an average of 9.1 PPG on the year. Coach Derik is excited to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of basketball players. Coaching at the 8th Grade level, he will focus on preparing players for the high school level and helping them develop the skills and mentality needed to make it to the next level.
